Welcome to Food and Agriculture Cloud Technology Universal Application Layer (FACTUAL) portal. You can use it to:
Maintain online field diary for multiple production cycles and fields including actions taken on the field as well as incurred multi-currency expenses;
Process and track data generated by phyto-sanitary laboratories during laboratory analyses of your crops and soil;
Monitor physical/chemical characteristics of your field using IoT (Internet of Things) Libelium Smart Agriculture pack of sensors (air/soil temperature/moisture, wind speed and direction, etc.).
As a demo, we planted two sets of potatoes cv. Desiree in soil with different characteristics. The experiment is carried in 19 cm diameter pots in room conditions with different soil content. Both sets are infested with cysts of golden cyst nematode (Globodera rostochiensis Wollenweber, 1923). Population density is 2000 juveniles and eggs in 100 ml of soil per pot.
To try FACTUAL features logon http://cloud.fact.rs using “firstname.lastname@example.org” user ID and “fact” password. For starter, you can:
Under “Field diary” select “Locations to see defined locations (fields), click on a particular location to see its characteristics, see IoT devices on the field, and see current and historical measurements of sensors;
See current and previous production cycles, create new ones, and maintain field diary including incurred expenses.
Please have in mind that the system is still under development and is not production grade software. All comments and suggestions are more than welcome at email@example.com.
